OUR PROCESS
At Breakthrough Interventions, LLC we understand that humans are complex beings and there is no “one size fits all” approach to address all these complex needs. That is why our therapeutic approach is multi-dimensional and based on the foundations of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Floortime/Play Therapy, and Psychotherapy. Our one-on-one therapeutic programs are individualized to ensure each child learns how to socially-emotionally regulate, become socially competent, and to overall become a self-actualized individual.
LEVEL 1: LEARNING TO LEARN
At this level each child goes through a comprehensive assessment to detemine the amount of therapeutic hours needed.
LEVEL 2: GENERALIZATION
We teach the child how to socially and emotionally regulate, encourage abstract thought through pretend play, and develop meaningful connections.
LEVEL 3: SOCIALIZATION
Level 3 focuses on teaching basic play skills that strengthen a child’s intrinsic motivation and desire to play.
LEVEL 4: TRANSITION
During this phase therapy sessions focus on coaching parents on how to foster in their child’s continued growth.
LEVEL 5: INDEPENDENCE
During this phase our goal is to work on self-esteem for promoting continued education, career options, and independent living skills.
